Pakistan Data Management Services (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the SMS Prime mobile application (the “Service”, the “App”).

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Pakistan Data Management Services respects its users’ privacy and is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of the SMS Prime mobile application in accordance with the applicable data protection rules.
By using the App, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Policy.
You are informed that Pakistan Data Management Services is based in Karachi, Pakistan and all the development and support is provided from it’s Head Office located in Karachi.

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

Personal Data
While using our SMS Prime app, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
Email Address
We use the email address of the user to forward the user’s incoming messages to the users own email so that the user can read their phone’s messages on their email and this will also act as a backup for the messages.
Why are we using the Google Gmail API?
We are using this API so that the user of our app can email incoming messages to his/her own email address. The user will be asked to login if the user is not logged in. If already logged in , the user will select his/her email directly.
We are using a sensitive scope i.e. https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send for the above purpose.
Permissions
We take the following permissions from our users:
SMS
SMS Prime is a messaging application on Android mobile phones that allows users to send and receive messages via their mobile carrier (using the SMS and MMS protocol). Messages are only ever transported between mobile phones and mobile carriers. We do not collect and do not store these messages on our servers. Also, we never share these messages with third parties.
CONTACTS
We use contacts in your address book to send/receive/view messages to/from these contacts. This is done by taking your consent for it in the beginning. Your contacts list allows it to be much more easy to use by the user, since accessing your contacts from the app makes you save tons of time.
PHONE
We use manage call permissions to call contacts from SMS Prime. This is done by taking your consent for it in the beginning.
Use of Data
Pakistan Data Management Services may use the collected data for the following purposes:
To execute the contractual relationship with the user and in order to provide services to the user, in particular:
- Enabling the access of the user to the app, administer the app and services related to it.
- In order to pursue our legitimate interests consisting in improving our App by doing researches and analysis, in the personalization of the App and the advertising displayed on the App, and in sending our customer base with news and updates to inform them on our activities, which are:
- To maintain and administer any software updates and/or other updates and support that may be required from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the App and Services;
- To tailor your experience through the Services by displaying content according to your interests and preferences;
- To provide targeted marketing and advertisements via the App;
- To conduct research, analysis and development activities (including, but not limited to, data analytics, surveys, product and service development and/or profiling), to monitor and analyse how you use the App and Services, to improve the App and Services and/or to enhance your user experience.
Recipients
Your personal data may be transmitted to the following recipients: service providers acting on behalf of Pakistan Data Management Services , such as hosting service providers (Google), advertising providers, our external counsels and advisors, and as required by law, judicial or administrative decisions, to competent authorities.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Pakistan Data Management Services will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.
